are they getting corrections and individual interaction over zoom, or is it just going through the motions like watching a video?
My DD has been doing ballet via Zoom, 5 days per week. She doesn't need to see the teacher; rather, the teacher needs to see the students as they go through their routine. The teacher tells the class what to do and tells them what they need to correct. If she needs to show them something, then she has them watch, but that is not often. Obviously this would not work for beginners, but it's fine for non-beginners. My DD has a portable ballet bar and a marley ballet mat so she won't ruin her shoes. She sets her phone in a tripod so her teacher can see her and she has a mirror positioned so she can see herself. Honestly, ballet has been a lifeline for my daughter -- it keeps her in shape, it keeps her focused, and it provides some zen amidst all this madness.
