She doesn’t even acknowledge that families who don’t have a stay at home parent are the majority.  The fact is that families without a stay at home parent are really, really struggling right now.  She doesn’t seem to get that, let alone care.  That’s a problem for someone in her position.  Distance learning cannot work without parental engagement, so she needs to figure out how to improve that, which means understanding what parents are up against.  The schools can’t just decree how they want to it to go and expect parents to fall in line.[/quote]
