Not only that, this creates even more fear in people and stresses out the kids. 
I’m looking at other, well developed countries, with huge pandemic numbers and their reopening of daycares, preschools and camps it’s happening now and we were shutdown at the same time. 
Such a disservice to the kids. 
But what do you expect? The same system closes schools and activities for snow, when there’s no snow....they cannot provide proper online continuing education, while our counterparts have a full day of virtual school from day 2!!! That’s why our kids are behind in all academics as compared to other countries and it should not be like this !
The whole situation is just horrific disservice to our kids.
