I'm a teacher and that is really odd.  Any parent who is able, should be supplementing a child's education all the time.  I have done that with my own kids since they were babies.  I find it hard to believe that any teacher would dislike a parent supplementing.  I mean, how would she even know?  I feel like there must be another side to this story.[/quote]
