Been at CFA for almost a year and I will agree their management both on the medical and financial side is worse than it was before (and it was bad). I’ve had testing done that no one called me about, it took two weeks and an email including my doctor to get information on a bill they sent me (which I didn’t owe), it took over a week to get a financial counselor to pay to start my cycle (which is obviously time sensitive). My doctor is extremely responsive but everyone else isn’t, and as was said they don’t even apologize or acknowledge their error. This will be my last cycle there.
Where will you be going next? I’m so disappointed and don’t understand why it’s so hard to find a good clinic in the DC area. I was at Shady Grove before, which was not nearly as much of a hot mess as CFA, but still took a few tries to get anyone to call me back any time I had questions. I might go back there because CFA was even worse but would love to hear any recs for somewhere better. I’m “just” doing IUI, I can’t imagine how much worse this would be with something as delicate as IVF.
