Actually, the PK experience you get at DCPS is really good.  And "premium" isn't always the same as data-driven and effective.  Read up on ECE.  Also, I don't know anyone who attends our Title 1 school who complains about the "unwashed masses," or refers to living in any part of DC as "homesteading."  Who are you????[/quote]

I heard homesteading a bit in the early days of DC turning around in the late 90s early 2000s. It was a common and condescending term for the appreciation focused gentrification crowd. I suspect it dates the OP [/quote]
