Their financial department is terrible and I complained so they reassigned me to the supervisor of my previous counselor. Might be worth a try asking for that. The credit card thing just doesn't sound right.

Also, FWIW, the meds can still be paid by credit card. Also, they quoted me something similar for the meds, but I ended up paying more like half of that (though I haven't yet done my FET cycle).

Are you qualified for the Synchrony study? I'm doing that and it pays for the PGS testing. If you're eligible, seems like a good idea.

Also, I'll echo other people on the peace of mind for the shared risk. I'm paused on things because of COVID, but very well may have to cycle again, and it's such a relief knowing I won't have to pay for that. But that said, something I didn't think about really before signing up for shared risk was that you have to pay for PGS each time you test. I know some people prefer to do multiple retrievals, then send off a single batch for testing, which you can't do with shared risk (but you can maybe do with multi cycle discount). At any rate, I'd talk with your doctor/look at the financial paperwork on that. I think age & # of kids you want matters a lot in those decisions.
