If they have equity, they can pull out the equity to pay for college. If we could afford to pay cash for $300K for college, I would depending on the school. We cannot do it reasonably and want to pay for grad school so we are clear state school. Luckily so far ours is happy to go to our state school so its not an issue.[/quote]
