My 8 year old son and I walk directly toward the door, but my 11 year old DD sort of veers off from us and walks directly into the glass. I  mean directly, bonked right off it, with enough noise that diners stop eating and look at us.  I lose it completely.  We hustle outside and I'm laughing so hard I'm crying and bending over holding my knees.  She's mortified but we're all laughing.  We still laugh about it years later.

As we were leaving the platform, we stopped and looked at the glass window she bonked into and could see smears where her face and knee just banged right into it.  [/quote]
