Teachers for well funded public systems, nurses, back office accounting and HR (those are jobs that need to be done so companies don't cut them right away), government, university administrator, etc. Given the cost of COBRA, it makes sense not to give them up. Also, if you're close enough to a pension, it makes sense to stay.[/quote]
