$10-20. I would go up to $20 if your delivery place is difficult (stairs, no parking, heavy/bulky items). If the delivery person works for Shipt then the person is already receiving a good base rate. FYI that my Amazon Fresh driver refused his tip this morning.
What? Why would your Amazon Fresh driver refuse a tip? You can also tip through the website when you place your order. Unless you are elderly and he didn’t want to take a tip from an elderly person?
Yeah, I didn't get it either. It was a puny order, like $55, of some canned goods and juice that I took to an elderly neighbor. Maybe because it was such a small order? But he was waving me off as I was walking towards him pointing at the envelope that was taped to the post and clearly labeled "Amazon Fresh TIP." He was looking right at it, too. I was talking to him the whole time he made the delivery so I figure either 1) he wanted to get away quick to go someplace where it was quieter, or 2) because it was for my elderly neighbor. He was in a car, not a van or truck, and that surprised me.
