I think you really just have to trust teachers to know their kids and figure out what's going to be most effective and useful for everyone. The first step is checking in to make sure they're out there and receiving communication. No learning can happen if 1/4 of your kids are AWOL.

You sound like an idiot. We are not "triaging". Do you even know what the word means? [b]What needs other than educational are teachers going to address with emails and zoom meetings.[/b][/quote]

- Are you doing okay? (some kids have anxiety, or emotional disorders, or lack of access to resources, or are with abusive families)
- Do you have everything you need? (some kids and families may not know about or can't get chrome books easily, they may need multiple devices at home, they may not have internet at home - what about single parent families where perhaps the parent is an essential worker?)
- Do you know where and how to get free lunch?
- Do you feel like you need me to help you access counseling resources? 
- Are you there? Are you even getting this information?
- Do you care for younger siblings if your parents are essential workers?
