She is fine with plenty of walks and attention when she is home. In fact, when DH does occasionally go home at lunch she is just sleeping. If it truly is only 8 hours (and not actually 10 or something) your dog will be just fine. Just work him up to it. Getting rid of him over this is really drastic and silly. [/quote]
