I'm not saying you need to move to KY, but just about anywhere is going to be cheaper than DC. Also, it's not all about what you can afford right now, but making sure you're taking care of your future self and saving enough for retirement. Taking care of yourself financially is really the best gift you can give to your adult children.[/quote]
