You have to write an essay, send transcripts and test scores, and if you make it through the first round, you have an interview with a committee of citizens who are knowledgeable about the service academies. This is in addition to your application to the school itself. It’s quite a tough process to get to point of getting an acceptance to a service academy. [/quote]
