I spent $400 to put in a 240v outlet in my garage, almost $200 of which was refunded by Maryland, and the gas savings are huge, even compared to my Prius, not to mention the joy of never having to go to the gas station. I don't have the wall charger, which means my car charges at at about 30 miles an hour instead of the 40 it would get with the wall unit. Every morning I wake up with a full charge. No oil changes is also nice. [/quote]
