The plural of anecdotes isn't data. It's uncommon, but the rare incidents make good clickbait, so you see them in the "media". [/quote] DP. Agreed that anecdotes are not statistics, but what also matters is what statistic you look at. If you look at how many children the average US woman will have, it hasn’t budged much, but we know that increasing numbers of women are electing to not ever have kids. So, it seems logical that some women are having more babies to balance out those in their cohort who do not.[/quote]
