OP, seriously, just stop if you can't tell the difference between a 2-3 ton vehicle hitting you at 40 mph and a 200-pound person plus bike hitting you at 15 mph.[/quote]

OP is right. Sure, a car moving at a faster rate of speed would be more likely to kill someone, but that doesn’t negate the fact that a bicycle and rider moving fast could also kill a child. It happens. Slam a kid’s head into the pavement and the outcome won’t be good.[/quote]
