When the population is predominantly white people it's sympathetically described as an industrial area and people smile.[/quote] I was intrigued and looked up big city mayors online: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mayors_of_the_50_largest_cities_in_the_United_States Many more Dems than Reps across the board but Republican mayors include San Diego, Fort Worth, Jacksonville, Omaha, Colorado Springs, Oklahoma City etc, which aren't known for being riddled with opoids. But boring white collar cities. Miami, though, is an interesting one. But looks likely due to the Cuban presence. [/quote]
