would be definitely an option for a young person. It has youthful vibes to it.

I remember reading something about some issues of one or another so
read carefully especially if buying older models to avoid problems.
It is very important to know all about both models before deciding,
what issues there were in the past, were they fixed, which is more
reliable. Google people's reviews for each model and read, start
with the problems and that will get  you somewhere.
Don't be discouraged by the problems in general, all cars have them,
it is just to see how companies handle them and if they fix them...

Jeep can get you out of  many conditions that other cars can't 
it is all terrain car and can go places. Really places not like
other cars claim :)..

Good luck and congrats! It is awesome that your kid will have
a nice car to drive.
