Not op, but a few follow up questions: is down dog power yoga? It's the only studio in Georgetown so i didn't really look at other types. Is there a good yoga DVD I can use while traveling? Personally I prefer the teachers other than Colin, just because he is so philosophical. But I think they are all good and I like that they mix up the instructors so it's a little different every time.
Yes, it is power yoga. You don't like Colin?? I guess that's what makes the world go round and keeps class space available, and sometimes I don't take much from what he says, but when he hits it, he really hits it. "All that was done was all that needed to be done." Plus, isn't he handsome to look at???? Yum. I wore my Polar HR monitor to Down Dog a few times, and each time my HR was at 85% of it's max or more. I burned 400 calories more in each class and I am not overweight, so that's a very good burn. What teachers do you like? Yoga DVDs: I've tried a few and can't say I LOVE any of them. Probably the best one I have found is Bob Harper's Yoga For The Warrior. I don't like Patty's classes. She has too much of a militant edge to her for my taste. Don't care for Alison. I like Kelly. Preston is not at Georgetown often, but he will slay you just by looking at you. WOW.
