If the Republican Party in Montgomery County can't put up any candidates who are electable, then that says two things:

1. the Republican Party in Montgomery County can't put up any candidates who are electable
2. the electorate in Montgomery County chooses not to vote for the candidates the Republican Party in Montgomery County puts up

It's not because of the Politburo, or the people in Takoma Park, or the Apple Ballot. It's because the electorate in Montgomery County isn't buying what you're selling.
