Likely nothing. The problem with soccer clubs is they are a weird blend of being both a paid service yet still supposed to be based on "merit".

Parents do not like paying somebody to receive the message that their kid isn't special in some way. Nothing gets more personal for parents than when they believe their kid is being snubbed or marginalized. Many parents lack the objectivity to see where their kid fits in as player in a relative sense.

Much of the venom on this forum is really nothing more complicated than a parent holding a grudge against a club for real or perceived treatment of their child.

This isn't to say that all the parents are wrong, but what is wrong is being able to just let it go already. You changed clubs, hopefully in a better spot for all involved and their kid is enjoying the game. But please just move on from your ex already.[/quote]
