You don’t understand the difference between a 16 oz single use plastic water bottle and a 5 gal water cooler bottle? You return the latter to the grocery store and they get refilled. They aren’t floating around the beaches like the former.[/quote]

I'm the poster who has used every filter under the sun over the years. We had a Berkey. The filters literally broke off of the plastic part that screws into the stainless steel. Who knows how long waster was seeping through that part instead of through the filter. I had them replaced TWO TIMES and it happened two more times. The Berkey is a great idea but it doesn't work. So sad.[/quote]
