I’m the OP. We’re in our 50s so no bio clock ticking! He lives out of state. We have a business relationship and are pretty enmeshed in each other’s lives, so I can’t cut him out of my life entirely. But I may need to stop sleeping with him. I’m dating others to keep myself distracted. [/quote]

When you say no to sex is it going to affect the business relationship? I posted earlier and think you absolutely need to stop being his FWB, by the way. But sleeping with someone with whom you have a business relationship creates a lot of potential problems when the sex ends yet he still has business connections to your livelihood. Any chance he might decide to make you pay--maybe literally--for ending the sex? If so: That's NOT a reason to keep being FWB because you deserve better. But think through how you want to approach ending it, if you think he'd be petty enough to let it affect the business relationship.[/quote]
