Kids today can't win with you guys. If they want to get involved, protest, be a part of their world, they're just looking for a free day off, and need to shut up and let the grown ups handle it. If they're ignorant of the world and don't concern themselves with political and social issues, they're self-centered and in their own bubble. They only get a half-day. Sure, some kids will abuse it. But I think the lessons learned can be important for many kids. Maybe one of those lessons could be that their time would have been better spent in class. Who knows?
I know and it’s curious there are so many Trumpkins posting here when the county votes overwhelmingly blue.
Well, my MOCO blue vote is turning red next year. My party has fallen off of the rails. There are a lot of us.
This is me also. Voted for Hillary last time. Voting for Trump in 2020. My MoCo vote means nothing because the County is so overwhelmingly blue. But, like another poster said, I want my voice to be heard against how far left the County has gone.
The US has moved increasingly to the far right since the 1970s.
