In my era we had Freddie Scott and Gene Fuget. D3 does not require a tremendous amount of athleticism. What is lacking in athleticism can be made up in enthusiasm. That was my 4-year experience (2 sports). Perhaps things have changed and everyone is super duper training for the Olympics and turning down Pro offers. As one doing regional interviews...
