Plus with all the Type-A azzholes we have in the D.C. area who think it's ok to do 30mph down a parking lot lane, backing out is a great way to have one of these jagoffs run into you at-speed. At least if you're pulling out of a space, you can somewhat see down the lane a good distance. Plus, I agree with the "planning ahead" thing. People that pull into spaces without thinking about having to back out when they leave probably don't think much beyond the moment. Instant gratification. They probably don't have a 401k. [/quote]
