What is the luxury step after Mesa seat?
Nuna Pippa, Cybex, Maxi Cosi - european car seats with extra safety features.
Maxi cosi is awful, not in the same category as the others. (And it’s available at target so definitely not luxury.). We have maxi cosi in one car and clek in the other and clek is so much nicer and safer.
NP- Oh really? I was reading reviews last night because I need to buy a convertible seat on Black Friday and it has good reviews. You like the clek a lot better?
So the Maxi cosi has a pretty cheap scratchy fabric and a chest clip with sharp edges (when not closed). It is a lot wider than the clek (but somehow with less room for the kid?) so it we can’t have anyone else sit in the back with two maxi cosi seats. In the other car there is an open passenger seat next to the two cleks. The downside to the clek is that it’s very heavy. The upside is that it lasts basically forever with really high weight limits. The clek is on sale for Black Friday, take a look! (And I admit that I am probably irrationally annoyed at the maxi cosi seats, I think I’m just annoyed that I didn’t just get two more cleks when we got a second car.). Good luck deciding!
