That is unclear.  In any case the former Martens site is not part of the enhanced GDS campus proper.  It is the location of an exciting mixed use development, which will bring vibrancy to a dreary part of Wisconsin Ave, and spin off money for GDS financial aid.  Unfortunately some old, change-resistant NIMBYs don’t want renewal of the community.  Once the campus project is completed, the expectation is that GDS will resubmit the application for the mixed use center, as the DC government is very pro-growth right now.[/quote]
