But after a season or two it went WAY beyond just "we're doing this for college/bills/etc." They moved to the million dollar house, plastic surgery, trips to Australia and New Zealand and Hawaii and Alaska and it was clearly not "for the kids"...it was to feed Kate's ego and get her the fame and money she thought she "deserved"...on the backs of her children.
