Could have gone to other D1 schools and gotten partial scholarships but realize the end game here.[/quote] Yeah, it's fairly common to play D1 and get no money. I know several kids in that situation as well, including ones who hit the coach's radar after all the scholarship dollars were already allocated for an incoming class. But two of my son's friends have ended up getting money for future years after strong performances as freshmen.[/quote]
