But there are times I haven't had cash. I've offered to give them a check on the spot, or to give them cash next time I see them. Our babysitters are all on the block, so it probably wouldn't be too long a delay but it could be a week depending on when I get cash or when I see them. They have usually said a check was fine. If a babysitter said she would prefer Venmo to a check, I would be happy to do that. It just hasn't come up. [/quote]
