Total is $400 (more or less, depending on when you get home).  If you can’t or won’t pay for over 24 hours of her time, then you should make arrangements for the kids to stay with relatives or take them with you.  On the plus side, unless working hours with kids are 40 or more for the week, you won’t be liable for overtime.[/quote]
