This is our oldest, so we are learning as we go. The only other thing we've encountered like this is the parent teacher conferences that our daycare did--and it was not a fancy or high end daycare, but, they offered much more thoughtful and insightful feedback in to our child's progress and development than what I experienced today. You are quoting me. I’ve found that the elementary parent conferences are not designed for this. I’m a high school teacher and we only meet with parents if there are issues so this wasn’t a shock for me. I went to the conferences at the beginning. Usually they told me my child was fine and maybe said some minor things they could work on. I told them to please contact me if anything every came up that they needed me to address at home. All of us smiled and said thanks have a great day. [/quote]
