Sparklers are dangerous.
Life is dangerous. Have done sparklers for years with no issues. Not OP but the question was where to get them.
Christopher Reeves rode horses for years with no accident. What’s your point?
Why don't you just go live in a cave then? Everything in life comes with a risk, even the mere act of getting out of bed.
But you’re taking on an assumed risk, with inherent dangers, for your kids that could affect them forever. If you are okay with the possible consequences, go for it. You have a cultural tie tonit, so it is more meaningful to you. I don’t, so my weighing of the risks/rewards is different from you. If your niece was badly burned on her hands and face, at her own home, would you continue to do the sparklers at your home?
Oh please. How many white kids end up with sports related concussions every day. How dare you enroll your kid into activities with inherent danger involved? And you let them play soccer in turf?? Knowing the increased risk of cancer? And please never take them to the pool or in the ocean, do you know how many kids drown every year? Stop taking in these assumed risks that could affect you child forever, how could you be okay with the possible consequences? If you celebrate Christmas, don’t you realize that Christmas lights are dangerous for children? Nearly all contain high levels of lead and many are made from glass. Babies and little kids can put these on there mouths, step on them, pull them down from Christmas trees risking fires and bodily injury. And stop with so much junk food. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines.. back to back bombardment of cultural reasons for gluttony. Obesity is the second largest contributor to death in this country.
