I think Alexandria is also considering expanding the number of travel futsal teams per age group this year.  Even if you don't do travel, you could try to hook up with an Alexandria soccer team that is doing the "travel division of rec," meaning playing other Alexandria travel teams within in the rec league. I just took a look at Alexandria's Futsal ID program and it's almost $900 for the winter program.  I didn't see a link to everything that you get but that seems like a lot....but then again, the winter off season is November thru March.[/quote]

FUTSAL ID PROGRAM DETAILS

Season Dates: December - March (some teams may have post season play)

Ages: Pre-Academy—2001 (U9-U19 teams). We are projecting to have multiple teams in each age group (three per age group on the boys side and two per age group on the girls side).

Cost: Option1 Teams $895, Option 2 Teams $695

Standard season schedule: two practice per week, explosive performance training, goalkeeper training, 2-3 tournaments and league (January - February).

Yes the first team is $895, second team is $695, third team is $595. Rosters are small though, only 8 kids per team so most won't have to pay $900. [/quote]
