I love this! Warm and comfortable no matter what the weather. I'll have to look on H&M for wool socks. And can you share a link for fleece-lined rain mittens? I see some on Outnorth.com too, but will take recommendations. [/quote]

I buy the Pilegloves from Didriksons. I like them because they stay on which is not always a given with mittens. I also tried the unlined ones from Reima and they were worthless. The ones from H&M I had to return because the elastics didn't seem tight enough. OK for an older child but for a toddler I was afraid they would fall off. I refuse to keep putting on mittens so I only buy the ones that stay on.

I buy the Pilegloves from babyshop.com. I actually waited for them to go on sale and bought all the sizes.:) Shipping is cheap. They don't seem to have a lot of inventory right now though.

Babyshop has a lot of nice practical stuff and there are often sales but you need to know the good brands. It's a Swedish website that ships worldwide. If you like European fashion, they have everything you need.

We use them on cold rainy days and for wet snow play. When the snow is wet, proper ski mittens are either too warm or not waterpoof enough. These are 100% waterproof because they are made from PU which also means that they are not breathable so we have other types of mittens for drier weather.[/quote]
