OP, I say this with the greatest of empathy...  
you NEED to get help for yourself before even thinking of starting something with someone 3,000 miles away.  You need to seek help for your insecurities & anxiety... now.

Otherwise, you will ALWAYS be insecure, ALWAYS be anxious, ALWAYS be left in wonder & ALWAYS be depressed.

Any credible therapist will tell you that for someone with these issues, the very LAST person on earth you should even consider dating is someone that lives all the way across the country, who you've already experienced infidelity with numerous times & you've never actually locked eyes on in person.

This may very well be a big game to him just to pass the time, you really have no idea who he is... you only know what he tells you. [/quote]
