If they are getting threatened, it doesn’t make sense to release the specific threats to the public while police are investigating them. The reporter should have asked the chief what’s up. Or at least their PIO. Gotten a statement from them. Shabby reporting at best. Misleading at worst. Beat cops don’t know everything that’s going on, so while they are free to talk to the media, you (and Kevin Lewis) need to take what they say with a grain of salt.[/quote]
