This isn’t true.

I delivered at VHC with Arlington women’s center. I was allowed to labor past 24 hours of my water breaking, push for 3 hours, and go to 40 weeks with a transverse baby.

My friend(s) delivered at VHC and had totally different experiences. Schedules C sections, C section for pushing, and not allowed to labor past the 24 hour mark.[/quote]

Ok, but she should still consider the hospital. While differences might exist within births at the same hospital that's nothing compared to the differences that exist between births at different hospitals. Hospitals have a birth culture and she should look at ones that prioritize the experience she wants. [/quote]
