I was allowed to labor past 24 hours of my water breaking, push for 3 hours, and go to 40 weeks with a transverse baby. My friend(s) delivered at VHC and had totally different experiences. I was saying that my friends and I have delivered at VHC (same hospital) with different OBs and have different experiences.[/quote] Ok, but she should still consider the hospital. While differences might exist within births at the same hospital that's nothing compared to the differences that exist between births at different hospitals. Hospitals have a birth culture and she should look at ones that prioritize the experience she wants. [/quote]
