Sometimes people perceive a coach to have favorites and that their kid is getting slighted....when maybe what is going on is that the parent is not realistic about their child's talent compared to the "favorites." It's a competitive sport...someone is always going to have beef and think someone else is getting a better shot than their child...sometimes it's 100% true and sometimes it's 100% delusional parents. As a parent who has experience at multiple clubs, VDA is the least political and parents have the least direct say in coaching decisions...one of the reasons why I chose it. [/quote]
