My third grader has been bringing Eureka math worksheets home since Day 2 of school this year. Last year, our school had a No Homework policy.
Same for my second grader. But it is one page of math problems and one page of explanation of how to do it (which they have already gone over in school but for reference for the child and/or parent). She was spending more time on homework last year in first grade, though I don't think they started until October in first. Neither of our elementary schools has a no homework policy, but it has mostly been pretty short activities in math and/or spelling, plus reading of their choice.
