[/quote] OP - your situation mirrors ours a few years ago. DH worked out a different schedule. Mom refused to do many of the typical responsibilities of parenting (bathing regularly, school, etc - it was very odd). If your DH can work out a schedule that allows him to take care of more of the parenting tasks, might be better for DS. Maybe weekends would be easier for her. Today mom is more of a big sister to teen instead of a mom. Doesn't do any typical parenting things and doesn't show any desire to... It's weird, but we just roll with it and let her do whatever she feels up to doing and handle the rest.[/quote]
