The best teams have 2 or more goalies rostered and have consistent goalie training. Being the only goalie on the team can be good for that goalie. Being the second goalie on a team where the first goalie plays the full game is not very fun. If a team has a small roster and one of the starting players is injured or otherwise not available, someone else obviously is going to have to step up and fill their position.[/quote] Teams with two keepers either split the game or they find other games for both to get in full games. Keepers just need to play and to see shots. Being on a particular team may be good for the team but it isn't always great for the keepers development. [/quote]
