I guarantee you can find privates, like SLACs, that will give your average DMV student merit aid to discount tuition. Will Davidson or Grinnell (2 of the top USNWR that offer merit)? Probably not. But look below the top 50-60 SLACs or at colleges USNWR list as “regional”. They are actually competing for kids in market where college age population is shrinking. [/quote]
