Sure, everyone *knows* they weren’t a couple, but it doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be adorable, swoon worthy, and what so many fans have been wishing for, for years. So, FWIW, I “know” a lot of things about the world, but it doesn’t make me stop wishing for sweet things, no matter how far fetched they seem. In any case, it’s still a bittersweet ending - I’m guessing he’s had to wait until all the sweat, pain, glitz and glamour was over. As a Canadian, we’ve watched them come up so far and for so long.
