I wear J. Mac. some of the styles are “old” and look like Chico’s but some are pretty timeless and look good. I’m in my mid-30s and have been shopping there for about 5 years.
I agree with this. J. Mac has some great pieces. It's just that they also sell old lady jackets.
+2 to all this. Their quality is fantastic as well.
Yes, their T-shirt’s and tops are pretty indestructible. Kind of like the old Ralph Lauren cable sweaters and LL bean totes... built like a brick house!
And their dresses really hold up well, too. I haven't ever noticed about the jackets but I don't really wear jackets.
I’m the first poster in this chain and the dresses are great for work travel. The Catalina Cloth barely wrinkles at all. If it does wrinkle a bit, just hang it up in the bathroom while you shower - definitely no iron needed. It’s amazing.
Ha! That is an excellent point. I was at an all-day meeting the other day and it was all women. At the end of the day we all stand up. Most of us looked rumpled and disheveled but the one gal wearing a J McLaughlin dress looked ready to go out to dinner.
