My guess is that he’s lactose intolerant and doesn’t realize this. It took a while for my husband to figure this out.
The only sane piece of advice I've seen so far. In my 30's, my stomach started growling for no reason (or so I thought) and I had stomach issues in the morning only. I realized it stopped when I ate bread as opposed to cereal with milk in the morning. I mentioned this to the gastroenterologist who made me do a lactose intolerance test (you have to drink whole milk before the test and keep blowing into something and they record some levels). I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance and had to avoid regular milk. Miraculously, my stomach issues went away. Fast forward 10 years and now I am no longer lactose intolerant and can have milk again. I guess intolerance could be only for few years for some people.
