If you were ugly and socially awkward naturally, you would have grown up with people holding you at a distance.  This would cause you to be under-socialized.  Thus, when you DO socialize, you're so excited to finally be allowed somewhere that someone like Brad Pitt is also, and possibly nervous and [b]possibly thinking this may be your only chance to be around them[/b], and thus you force a kiss.

She is in the movie, was on set with them, and is now out doing promotion for it. This wasn't her only chance to be around them. [/quote]
